Hi Banisher Thank you for helping with the project, as fellow chinese/new translators i'd like to know which chapters you're planning to do,so that we won't end up doing the same chapters. Currently I'm re-translating the chapter 92 , since the machine translation wasn't good , but english is not my forte so I will rely on you in the future.

Regards,

Giorgio wu

Hi Wu,

I will be doing Vol14 chapter 5. Don't worry about clashing. I will try to help out as much as I can

Regards Banisher

Hey[edit]

Aren't you a Chinese to English translator? Why do you need TLC? Worried that the Chinese text changed stuff from the Japanese? :O 115.70.114.118 06:39, 11 August 2014 (CDT)

Yeah, it is possible. I notice a lot of sentences are different from the japanese version. - Banisher

John Woodward[edit]

Hey Banisher,

I'm an editor for Mushoku and I worked hard editing Web Chapter 137 - A Father of Dignity. I did mainly verb-tense editing, but also clarifying sentences, grammar, spelling, etc. I came up with a few questions and put them into hide tags. Also, the biggest edit I made, and double checked with another person, was regarding the magic stone hypothesis edit.

Before and after:

  • Could it be the mana which was inserted into the back had changed into [a decompose wave that instantly decomposed things which were generated by mana] which was released from the front.

  • Could it be that mana generated into the back of the stone transforms into [a canceling wave] through the front, effectively dispelling magic?

Please let me know what you think and if it still stays true to the translation.

Best,

Deadgye[edit]

Hey, I made some TLC edits to your upload of Mushoku Tensei web chapter 137. It was mostly small changes in sentences that felt a bit off when compared to the original Japanese text. Main goal was to improve readability or understanding. Let me know if you think any of them were unsatisfactory and should be changed back.
