also, do you mind if i put my user name under active editors? i've editted quite a bit already, and dan approved all my edits (which is a fucking miracle, really. the fact that i apparently have a better feel for english than my mother toungue is saying smth). + i have confidence that i will be translating vol 5+ too. and i will definitely edit the english version to get a rest from TL-ing. i've found that editting is a good way to prevent TL burn out... <br/>

hi there's no need to re-upload the images. you can find the links of all uploaded images here :) --larethian 01:20, 6 June 2011 (UCT)

I generally clean them a bit before I release which is why I'm uploading my own. Does uploading on the page there delete the old images? I thought it saved them so even if I uploaded there it wouldn't save space. --Vexed

Help question

hi, i sent you an email about help with Haganai. i'm writing this for faster feedback in the case that for some reason unbeknownst to me you did not receive my email. (shit happens, karma, bad luck or otherwise, but i'm having trouble contacting people that i super need right now) So if this is indeed the case, here is the copy paste of my questions:

Hi, i'm the TL for the russian Haganai project on baka-tsuki. I was wondering if I could ask you some questions regarding your translation of the 4th volume, Summer homework chapter. If you could help me, can you reply in my talk page please? thanks in advance))

"I-I'm sorry, Ms. Takayama..."

(does it say -san or -senpai in the original instead of Ms.?)

Sena's line -

"Aha, you're such a moron, forgetting your homework! I've never been yelled at for forgetting to do my homework!"

Yozora's line -

"Oh, is that so? Good for you."

Sena said, attempting to start something with Yozora, but she just brushed it off.

Sena's line -

"Ghh... What the heck... You could at least play along a little bit..."

(shouldn't the 2nd and 3rd lines be reversed? It just doesn't read at all as is...) --Idiffer 11:51, 23 January 2012 (CST)

hi again. i sent you an email on the 24th, and still no answer. if i offended you somehow, then it really wasn't my intention. but if you just haven't got to answering yet, sorry for being so impatient.--Idiffer 05:52, 2 February 2012 (CST)

thanks for clearing that up. i would edit myself, but i'm sure you don't want a non-native speaker butchering your translation. and from vol.4 chapter "sister":

I hardly think "old hag" fits a girl as young as her, but you do see little kids acting like middle and high schoolers are old men and women sometimes.

there is definitely something weird here. (it's somewhere past the middle of the chapter). if you don't mind, can i contact you here? it just seems more reliable.--Idiffer 14:33, 5 February 2012 (CST)

There's nothing wrong with the line; acting is as in "Quit acting like I'm an old man." I re-worded it slightly to help bring that out. --Vexed 21:21, 5 February 2012 (CST)

oh. stupid me. sorry...--Idiffer 01:29, 6 February 2012 (CST)

Vol. 4 chapter Service time.

He then cleared his throat, going "Ahem." trying to play it off.

i sort of get the gist of what you want to say here, but still...can you please explain in more detail or give some synonyms? (i checked the dictionary, yes, and to no avail.)--Idiffer 14:07, 16 February 2012 (CST)

"Act like nothing happened" is probably the best synonym. It's like "play it cool", if that helps. There's also an entry for it on urban dictionary, apparently. --Vexed 15:31, 16 February 2012 (CST)

thanks) i have some old-people-ish traits. using the hard cover webster's dictionary whenever possible is one of them. hell, i translate most of the stuff using pen and paper. i'll try to find urban dictionary. it sounds like like a cool thing for a TL.--Idiffer 15:50, 16 February 2012 (CST)

Vol. 4 chapter Service time.

Having people who don't have to work hard to do well isn't anything new, but Sena takes being bad at teaching others to a whole new level.

having people do what...?
--Idiffer 06:53, 18 February 2012 (CST)

Edited the line to be more accurate. I actually fixed it on my own script, but I guess I didn't put it in the releases. Woops. Vexed

can i ask you to give me the raws for vol.4 and 5 of tomodachi, please? well, any others will be great too. my email idiffer 3 @ rambler . ru (without spaces)

The tower

Just as you'd expect from a genius inventor girl(?), her brushing was just as smooth as Yozora's.

why is there a question mark there? because kodaka is unsure if it should be expected from her or not? --Idiffer 10:50, 21 February 2012 (CST)
