| + | Regarding the middle dot in the furigana parentheses (・), it is the web authors' way of doing accent dots, which are usually over each character, and when the accented characters are read, they are done so with heavy emphasis (imagine doing air quotes). Regarding the middle dot in the furigana parentheses (・), it is the web authors' way of doing accent dots, which are usually over each character, and when the accented characters are read, they are done so with heavy emphasis (imagine doing air quotes).
