Kaezar : Helloe, what do you wanna talk about?

ch232[edit]

IK is sick. so it will take time for him to complete the chapter. also is there a faster method to contact you

revanth

Well, I guess this is the fastest considering I keep checking BT every time, I just checked it now after waking up from my slumber. So, what's the problem? Do I have to take up 232 now? I'm done with 233 tho. --Kaezar (talk) 22:28, 17 January 2015 (CST)

ch 232 is complete. please upload ch 233.

(・)[edit]

Regarding the middle dot in the furigana parentheses (・), it is the web authors' way of doing accent dots, which are usually over each character, and when the accented characters are read, they are done so with heavy emphasis (imagine doing air quotes). I think a good way to translate that into English is to use italics or bold font. --imagelesskink (talk) 22:29, 10 January 2015 (CST)

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up. Then it's just putting more emphasis on certain words, yeah? Well, I guess it can be dealt with bold and italics as you said. --Kaezar (talk) 00:46, 11 January 2015 (CST)

TT?[edit]

Out of curiosity, what is TT?

Obviously, Table Tennis. Why don't people know this? --Kaezar (talk) 23:47, 20 January 2015 (CST)

240 Title[edit]

I get what you're saying in that there is no mention of 'they' but it flows better this way in english. Also the line is written in past tense implying that the 'thing' has already been found. The 'they' could be removed by making it 'The thing that was being searched for' but that seems a bit too wordy. The 'what' is accurate enough, the kanji used is pretty all purpose generally referring to anything that's not a person, in this case, soy sauce. This also applies to 241 as there is only one kanji different so whatever is decided on we should standardise it.

P.S. How does this talk work? Can I just reply to you on my page? I don't get it... Pielord Miniman (Talk) 05:39, 23 March 2015 (CDT)

Titles?[edit]

Sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about. I haven't changed any of your chapter titles or any other work, though I did thoroughly eliminate all grammar errors.

Cause I've mended them already. --Kaezar (talk) 06:03, 15 May 2015 (CDT)

....Uh, do you have a problem with me, or something? Did I somehow offend you? If so, I apologize. Or is it just final exam pressure?
Subsinexus (talk) 10:19, 15 May 2015 (CDT)

Do you even know what I was talking about? Even that Kemm guy pointed out the problem. Well, anyway, it's fine now. --Kaezar (talk) 12:17, 15 May 2015 (CDT)

Mushoku Final Volume Links[edit]

Hi Kaezar. Thanks for translating the final volume of Mushoku Tensei! (Many thanks to Pielord Miniman and the editors as well!) Regarding your request not to host the chapters on baka-tsuki, does that extend to linking to the pages as well? I had placed the links then to be safe, reverted myself after reading your request at the end of the chapter. Please let me know if it's okay to link to them or not and thanks again for the translations! :) --Stux (talk) 19:01, 16 May 2015 (CDT)

Well it's fine if it's only linking it. I made it so that it looks similar to what Overlord page looks like, have a look. --Kaezar (talk) 08:43, 17 May 2015 (CDT)

Nice! I like it! Much better than red links all over the place :) There's several externally-hosted LN on the site as well, so it's something BT isn't unfamiliar with. Thanks Kaezar! --Stux (talk) 14:57, 17 May 2015 (CDT)
Welcome. --Kaezar (talk) 16:18, 17 May 2015 (CDT)

Huh, so the chapter shifting was the reason? Sorry, but in my defense, I did ask permission in advance, and was more than prepared for a refusal. I was told by you to wait till the volume was completed, and did wait. Well, still, it seems my work did indeed offend you - I apologize.
Subsinexus (talk) 14:02, 18 May 2015 (CDT)
P.S. And allow me to add that I have great respect for the translators that took their time to translate for us - it's the reason why I chose to try to help with editing. In this case, it seems my attempts had the opposite effect...

It's not your fault, I only wanted people to know just who worked so hard to produce these translations for them. I would've given permission if only I was working on the project but this was a group project so that's why I did this. Indeed I got angry but it was because I ended up translating too much which made me bitchy and there was exam pressure as well. Let bygones be bygones. Anyway, it seems even though I've finished translating and was looking forward to my break, unfortunately I've started going through withdrawal for some reason. I can't focus on studying at all. I should probably start running for a month or two..... --Kaezar (talk) 14:41, 18 May 2015 (CDT)

Thank you for understanding. And exams suck - after one of my finals, my entire class had pale faces. I think the average will be somewhere around a...30%? At least, I hope it's a 30% T_T

Good luck, sir!
