Yoooooooooooooooooooooo :) Long time no see mate :)

How are ya? :P

No need to apologize my friend. Like I said I ain't rushing anything out of you guys :) - after all you are doing it because you want to, not because others want it right :P. I won't do any "undo"s.

I wish you to stay healthy (I got some virus and I have 39.3 Celsius ... the usual thing for me around this time of the year and I hope you want catch anything like that).

Have a nice day/evening (really can't think about the differences in time zones to be honest :P)

Wish him luck once again. All of us have our busy days. Some more than others, but don't worry too much about it.

And thank you. Afraid that I didn't manage to finish another chapter last weekend, though. Apologies for that.

"Undo" simply exists for people to remove edits that have gone horribly wrong. In other words, by clicking that button, you'll essentially edit out everything that the last person changed. I imagine that the button is useful if someone had been spamming, as opposed to manually hunting every change out, but otherwise, I wouldn't recommend doing any "undos".

Well I told him about what you said - he will try it when he gets more free time. I myself will have less time online too since too many exams are on the way and so little time... also the 3 projects I've been burdened with... university - HELL with no spare time / PARADISE of useful information.

Well I probably wont be visiting here for few days at least so until we write to each other again - "Keep up the good work soldier!" :)

P.S. - What is with the "undo" clicks in "View History" ? Never seen them before. I am scared to click any of the "undo"s ...

Thank you. It probably sounds the same since we're all translating from the same author. Even if translation may cause the loss of some of it, it should still retain the 'original flavour' of the series. Editors are the people responsible for consistency, etc. though.

Glad to hear that your friend is interested in translating this series, Ice. He doesn't need to know too much about the computer, but knowing how to click links and type would probably be best. Nothing says that you can't be helping your friend type out his translations onto the wiki. The wiki is fairly simple to use, and he need not worry too much about formatting. That's what editors are for.

Baka-tsuki seems to be fairly flexible on translator requirements. Practically anyone capable of translating the light novel may help out. To get started, he should just post in the forums ( here) stating that he would like to translate the series. Any questions and concerns can be asked over there. He'll probably need a wiki account, and preferably a forum account too. (I'm not sure if that's mandatory or not, but it's certainly for best.)If he needs raws, that's probably where to ask for them too.

When translating, he must complete 1 kB worth of text (Approximately one page in English. Just follow the spacing that the original novel provides.) and register for the chapter that he's working on at the ZnT registration page

For reference before translating--Best to read first:

ZnT Guidelines

Baka Tsuki Forum Rules

I wish your friend luck!

Well since I read your translated chapters I can say that your fiction english version is on a good level my friend :) - not flattery or anything like that but saying my opinion. The way you write the translations in english is similar to the one who the other guys have used in earlier translations which makes sense (believe me I've seen 1 english book translated into bulgarian (my native language) by 2 translators ((( lets say that a guy can not see that he is reading the same book if he reads 1 of each of the translated coppies - the names and adds all sound differently ))). So believe me you do a good job :) - if I can do anything to support you just tell me and I will try my best. By the way - my name is Christian , nickname Ice (not Ice like icecream though ^^). It has different meaning and pronouncing in bulgarian :)

P.S. - By the way 1 of my friends who is good at japanese is interested in translating in here. He is on a better level at japanese than me but he isn't very .. how to say - computer user (x.x) - not that it is a bad thing but everyone has an opinion about anything. So I've told him about it and he requested from me to ask what are the requirements to be able to get in to the translating team.

Glad to hear that you had a pleasant birthday!

I only started trying to translate since I found a method that enabled me to and that it seemed like the registered translators were all busy. If you check on the forums, it looks like Kazesenken might finish up his/her chapter some time in November, though. (S)he is registered to one of the chapters in that volume, if I'm not mistaken.

And glad to hear that you aren't too picky about the release dates. I'll try to get what I can done. I'm afraid that I'm not exactly the best translator out there, since I'm not too strong in the language that I'm translating from. (Dictionaries are always there, though.)

I believe that that two person per volume is stated in the guidelines. It might be best to check there for more information, BlackJack. I'm afraid that I don't know anymore than what's on it.

Thanks for your support!

Thank you :) It was a nice birthday although I will receive my present on Christmas - a nice shiny car for my driver license ^^. I had no presents on last year's birthday and X-mas since all of them are being accumulated into this year's Christmas present. But enough about that :)

I am not too picky about the date of your releases. It's enough to see an active translator for once :D. I have not seen changes to Volume #13 for like months so I though in a moment that you guys have abandoned it, but if what you say about the 2 man translating per volume is true, then nothing can be done I guess.

I ~ know what is said in the untranslated chapters in volume #13 since I somewhat know a little japanese so its not that big of a loss to wait for it some more. But for someone who is not perfect at that language its a blessing to have people like you doing a good job :)

Thank you again for your contribution and I will await your future translating :)

You're welcome and thanks for dropping by and writing a message. Happy birthday to you and wish you well on that day! I do apologize, but as much as I'd like to finish a chapter by then, the fact that I've got a lot of things to prepare for on the thirteenth isn't helping. If you aren't too picky about things being right on the date of your birthday, a belated birthday present in the following few days, if that's all right with you?

And I do apologize about Volume thirteen, but I believe that there is a two translator per volume rule. The chapters of Volume 13 are not registered to me. I'm still a new translator around here, so I'm too sure about everything either, but for now, it may be best for me to stick to Volume 14. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you for translation ZnT's novels CrimsonLace (Ariana). I am very grateful for your hard work, since there are not many who are willing to do this kind of thing :)

If I could I would like to request from you to finish the translation on the #13 Novel if you please :(. I really want to read the full story without blank points.

Thank you in advance even if you don't fulfill my request since you already do so much :).

Have a nice day and stay healthy!

P.S. - 12th of October is my birthday and if it is not so much to ask can you translate another chapter until then ^^
I am greedy but still what is interesting is interesting ya know :)

inactivity[edit]

Good day,

We are doing some spring cleaning in our right groups (translator, editor, etc.), and people who have been inactive for more than a year are being removed. This unfortunatly appears to be your case.

I thank you for your past work ; if you come back someday and need those tools again, please contact Help:Administration_Contact_Page
