My most prized comment[edit]

Excuse me to write here, but I just want to thank you for the awesome edit you are doing for Gakusen. Thanks again. Setsuna86 (talk) 02:19, 16 January 2014 (CST)

My most embarrassing comment[edit]

I happened to notice that your most recent edit to Gakusen v3c4 changed the person who muttered "I wonder if something happened" from Kirin to Saya. You may have already checked before making that change (I don't know what's correct), but I'm just bringing it up in case the change in who muttered that line was unintentional. • I suppose I should respond to this. Of course the correction was made within a day of logging in. In a somewhat lame defense it was a mistake born from sloppiness. Basically, I was working from an edit of an edit.
To correct this error in procedure some changes have been made.
  1. First of all, I now always keep a copy of the original.
  2. Secondly. I now use a really cool a duel panel code editor. This allows a comparison of the edited copy and the original at all times. The program also allows me to edit a whole chapter at once. (Which is especially important because of my lackluster Internet connection.)
  3. Thirdly. It allows me to actually read a great Baka-Tsuki Light Novel chapter and edit it at the same time.
  4. Fourth. The second round of editing is much easier. Additionally, since it is always compared to the original, it allows a result that is much more closer to the authors and translators original intent to be produced.
  5. Fifth. The third edit is usually saved for much later, after all the novels have been read, and is meant to normalize the consistency of terms, expressions and conventions if needed.
