thank you for your contribution, but just wish to ask you about your previous edit,

in chapter 10, vol.3, znt. you changed:

"he enemy had was three thousand troops strong, while their forces, crumbling from the bombardment, only numbered two thousand."

to

Three thousand strong troops conformed the enemy's numbers, while their forces, crumbling from the bombardment, only numbered two thousand.

Just interested in your use of "conformed" why did you put this word in it?

It seemed like it fit at the time, but now that you've pointed it out its definition doesn't seem to let be used in the phrase; I want to believe there's a word to replace that one and convey the meaning "the total amount was" but since I can't seem to find one, so far I've had possible sentences like:

"The enemy's numbers were of three thousands strong troops, while..."

and

"Three thousand strong troops summed up the enemy's numbers, while..."

If any of these seem ok to you let me know, since trying to find a single word to do the job is really bugging me.

By the way, thank you and everybody from the staff for putting up this project, I'm really looking forward to read more new chapters and I'll gladly keep fixing when reading. Maybe I'll even registrate to make things easier. :)
