ゾクッとするような上目使いでのぞきこまれ、思わず顔が赤くなる。

Being peered at by a chilling upward glance, his face spontaneously turned red.

Zero2001: Chilling glance? Isn't that used for circumstances where the guy ends up scared rather than embarrassed? Please revise

I don't know how to revise it. Else, we can just merge everything into cold upward glance--KuroiHikari (Talk | ) 05:02, 23 June 2012 (CDT)

Rather than "chilling", "hair-raising" would be a better option. At least google translates it that way. People get goosebumps (that's another term for it but it's use will make it necessary to change the sentence more than necessary) for all kinds of reasons. Some when scared, some when expecting something epic and some when excited. Chilling on the other hand, doesn't match this circumstance at all. So hair-raising would be a better choice here.
