So, this project fails to move forward and Himatsubushi is not updating since Nov. last year.

I want a discussion on wether or not this should be properly listed as an "open" project or just a joint one. It seems to me translators may(or may not; I am not a translator so i dont know jack) feel that this is off-limits.

That seems a shame, as i have seen more and more people off-site asking for further translations.

Got sidetracked on the forum arguing over the lack of sub-forums, opinions here until that gets sorted out....please? --Novium 01:29, 11 April 2011 (UCT)

This is not exactly a joint project. We are just hosting translations from Himatsubushi, which is actually a sister group of Ayako. And hosting doesn't make it off limits. Well from what I know, they are made up of the same people as Ayako, and they work as a group. Apparently, it's blocked due to staffing issues last time I talked to them through a thrid-party, though they still expressed an interest to continue, but it seems to be on an indefinite hiatus. --Larethian 01:42, 11 April 2011 (UCT)

Lets let him do what he wants. As Big Boss said in his recent interview; translations should be fun, not a task. Thanks for the heads up thou; i'll check it out for other reasons :) --Novium 20:31, 12 April 2011 (UCT)

Ok; that sheds some light on the issue. The whole reason i reacted is that is is such a huge demand out for it; and noone seems to want to touch the actual translation :( Hopefully someone comes along and finds it fun :) annnnnd---- I would like to express my personal wishes for translations to begin from volume 4 or so. That should get Hima plenty of room to swing if they sort it out. Feels like a right proper thing to do right?

I love to translate Oreimo. Unfortunately, my first love is Kagami's works, and I can't clone myself. I'm always on the lookout for potential translators. Incidentally, I found zgmfx09a through AS, and he has translated a DVD supplement from Oreimo, which shows Kirino's perspective in part of episode 1. He's right now working on Onii-Ai, and interested in having them hosted though I don't know when. Though like me, he's more interested in Itsuten and Denyuuden, and has offered to help out with Itsuten when he has time, haha. Maybe if many people beg him, he might switch to Oreimo *shurg*. I will be making a forum post on the subject. Cheers.--Novium 01:29, 11 April 2011 (UCT)
