Technically speaking, both Baal and Belial are divine entities of an ancient Middle Eastern religion from which th Jewish religion stems from, and it was the Jews, as adherents to an orthodox branch of said religion, who branded them as fallen angels as beings that received worship that should have been directed to the Unnamed God (or El, which meand just "God") that created everything, including all other divine entities (this belief was canonic throughout all the branches of the religion, including the one Phoenicians were adherents of). If you check, that "al" at the end of their names is just a regional variant of the "el" (whose meaning I just mentioned) found in angel names as "Gabriel", "Michael" or "Raphael".--Kemm (talk)
