Is the format at the start 'A ha B,C,D desu. ...Sono hazu datta' or the like, or rather 'A ha B,C,D ...no hazu datta' or the like? If the first, I might suggest a slight rewording on the lines of 'That's what she should have been' or 'That's what she should be' or 'That's what I thought'/'That's what I thought she was', whereas in the second case I might suggest something on the lines of 'Shirayuki Hotogi: a Yamato Nadeshiko./A modest [...].' for the first two lines. In any case, very happy at translation being done for this fiction! Thank you!

Hmm. I think that you didn't check my page. As you see, I'm translating the novels Chinese-English. And I only know it by reading and speaking it. So,I have troubles translating. Normally, when I'm speaking a language(I'm trilingual) I think in the language I am currently speaking. That's why I'm not good at finding the correct ways to express my thoughts. Translation Suggestion: Instead of Women-hater, maybe making Kin-chan-sama's nickname "Enemy of Women" or "Ladykiller" since it implies that he is both unnaturally good with women/perverted as well as the meaning that Kin-chan-sama prefers, i.e. that he doesn't get along with women.

The original word is 「女嫌い」 (Onnagirai), which literally translates to "Women-hater". The three have different nuances. In "Women-hater", Kinji hates girls. In "Enemy of Women", its the other way around. "Ladykiller" means a gigolo. In that part where Kinji asked Shirayuki her nickname, Kinji is just making an introductory argument about defending his side. He's using his nickname as a supportive evidence that he and Aria were not "dating each other". OK. I agree with you for that. But I don't see him as enemy of women since he's been asked favours from different girls. I mean, yeah he's a Pervert, but Girls should see him as a tool. And ladykiller could be applied for us, but not in the story (girls are only 'secretly' in love with him).

A question about the pair-look misunderstanding: in English it simply means "equal to see", but in Japan it is referred to a costume fashion that have very strong couple to dress in the same way or to use the same accessories. I think Shirayuki means this, but Aria, who is a foreigner, doesn't get it and sees only the English meaning of the word. Did you intend this with your translation Kira or i got it bad? Raffreddato
