Treasury of the Blood Pledged Castle[edit]
(Though named as "treasury", it's more like a storeroom for things from here and there that we can't categorize.)
Takabayashi: These PAPER related pieces I've been asked on many occasions to write, and the ones here are from the time when the anime was just starting and we were doing the FAIRs[1]. Recently I've been upset how I don't seem to have enough ideas (for writing this kind of PAPER pieces)....but looking at these retrospectively, in the past I wrote such ORTHODOX things. And they were not long either (laughs)
Editor G: And somehow when we noticed they're already being used in the anime and the CDs and on other occasions, and becoming very official NETA-s.
Takabayashi: That did happen, like with Greta saying "I want to marry papa" and with the art-clumsy three brothers[2]. .......But it feels off here because when I did this "Mother and son" piece, with the Maidmer Princess I meant there to be a very relaxed composition, like the second son is teasing a shocked Shibuya and smirking.
Editor G: That.... could be just a case where Conrad is found out later to be someone not really relaxed (and also a little bit naive).
Takabayashi: Right, just a success in the "add some incompetence" mission[3]! Well, whether the second son is more like his father or mother in love affairs, it would make the HURDLEs for his TABOOs fairly low.
Editor G: I can see that~ He seems like the type to consider every encounter as "adding to experience" and to take everyone coming his way.
Takabayashi: .....No, maybe not to the point of that....
