Only our frozen breath warmed the air
As we both watched our heartbeats that seemed about to be cut off.

And the dear memories that were once so precious
Are just lingering affections that will soon disappear.

For example the rain
That fell like mist after school.
For example the sunset
The scenery of the classroom that seems to be afire.
For example the snow
Meeting for the first time the white night and the black umbrella.

Since you were there, even if you just smiled, I was happy.
It was disturbing, but I could relax.
Together with you, even just walking, made me happy.
But even if we weren't together at all, we were able to be together.

For a very brief moment.
I stopped because the light that showed through the branches seemed so warm.
But, you laughed saying that we could always be here.
... Those words, I always wanted to say to someone.
