Radio Digest 6 - What's improvisation?[edit]

CD release: May 25, 2007
Original radio shows: Starting from November 2006.
Drama screenplay: Katou Yuka (加藤有香 ) and Sakamoto Kouichi (坂本耕一)

FX:*mini-drama intro music*

Murata: MAah! What's going on? Why is this large amount of wood pieces spread over all over the garden?

Günter: Your Highness! You're here. Actually, right now I'm building a kotatsu[1]. Since I've already made sure that it's more or less the right size, now, as you can see, I'm carefully taking care of the fabric part.

Murata: Ah... once again your perception is off, and Shibuya has probably inspired you by only giving you partial knowledge of the item, righ, Lord von Christ? Hm... but you know? This thing here, rather than looking like a kotatsu, looks more like a TENNIS COURT sized ping-pong table. That's not the meaning of "TABLE TENNIS", that's what I mean to say[2].

Günter: Right... but since His Majesty said that everyone who lives in the house should be able to fit under the kotatsu, and if you take into account everyone who works at the Blood Pledge Castle, it needs to be at least this size....

Murata: Ah.. no, well... I understand the reasoning behind it but this is too big. Like this, people sitting from one end to the other, won't be able to talk to each other.

Günter: Oh! That's right....

Wolfram: What? Don't tell me that you built this without thinking about something so basic. Even though you're the Assistant to the King and one of the Maou's retainers, you're not clever enough to think about something like that. This is why people say that old age is really troublesome.

Günter: O-O-Old age!?

Murata: Ah....huh? Lord von Bielefeld, how long have you been here?

Wolfram: From the start. Günter, did Yuuri ask you to build this?

Günter: No, his Majesty was only telling me, that he missed the kotatsu from his home country during winter. When I heard that, I realized that having a kotatsu in one's house was a necessity. An invention that allows one to share the same bed, and the same warmth with someone else. Isn't that wonderful? To be able to.... share the same.... bed.... with his Majesty!!!

Murata: Lord von Christ! Your juices are gushing out... they're gushing out, so please calm down.

Wolfram: Günter, you bastard! That's what you were aiming for!?

Günter: And who sneaks into his Majesty's room to sleep in his bed? Huh, who is that!? Who does that!?

Wolfram: It's okay if I do it. Because I'm his fiancé, right? You are nothing but his teacher.

Günter: *squeals* That's not a proper reason! Because, because!... his Majesty and I... his Majesty!!!

Murata: Okay, okay, STOP! I understand the feelings that you're shouting about and your unstoppable desires, but putting that aside, something as big as this, won't fit inside the castle, right? Since this can't be used as a kotatsu, it's best if you think about giving it a different use, don't you think?

Günter: Ah... that's... that's right. What could we do with it?

Wolfram: We can use it as that thing he said before... that hand ball(te-kyuu)? Th-Thank you? Field ball(noro-kyuu)?

Murata: Ah, the "ping-pong table", you mean? I said it can't be this size...

Günter: All right! Then let's give it a try! C'mon Wolfram! Let's settle this right here and now to see which one of us loves his Majesty the most! Let's do this!!!!

Wolfram: You're on! Let's!!!

Murata: No, wait you two! Where did you get those tools?

Günter: I'll give you the deadly spin-spin(gün-gün) attack! Get ready!!!

Wolfram: Shut up!!!!!!!!!!

Show intro Murata/Wolfram: Kyou Kara Maou - Shin Makoku Broadcasting Corporation

Radio Show: Today's guests are Inoue Kazuhiko (Günter) and Matsuyama Takashi (Dacascos). They talk about the two of them being a combi but Matsuyama says Dacascos probably hates having to tag along with Günter. Matsuyama says that sometimes he starts talking to Inoue-san as if he was Günter, and because of that Inoue-san tries to sound different from his character when he talks to him. Saiga-san says that Dacascos is supposed to be Günter's employee but sometimes he ends up scolding him, they say it's the director's fault. After that they talk a little bit about improvisation (the track's name), saying that they think Inoue-san improvises his lines when he's fading out (screaming: Your Majesty and such). Inoue-san says: no, no that's just your imagination. Miyata-san says no way. Inoue-san insists that all the lines are there, but that sometimes he improvises a bit. Matsuyama-san says that the director tells him that he can improvise if he wants, and the same with Inoue-san. Inoue-san says that sometimes he can't sleep the day before doing improvisations, because he keeps thinking about what he'll say the next day.
