Now for something I think the people who already have the special edition will agree with me—

The cast is such a perfect fit it’s getting me all hyped up. Whether it’s Yaya x Raishin or Loki x Raishin they’re all incredibly moe. Even Frey, whose debut was a just a small portion, was so cute Kaitou Reiji at the recording studio was dying of cuteness. Also, Charl and Sigmund’s portion: [Please!] was wonderful! That Nakata Jouji-san’s performance as Sigmund was unbearably cool~

Toku P-san, Linden-san, and Harada Hitomi-san’s moving song Mobius was also recorded! This CD is a limited edition first run print bonus only, this is some kind of bad joke, right? Maybe even a hardcore S&M play. If you want to avoid the tears, please hurry up and secure your copy now.

And this has been the 4th volume of Machine Doll.

If this were the regular Kaitou Reiji, this would be the middle point of the book already, but—

To be honest, it feels like the story hasn’t started yet at all. More than half of the participants in the Night Party have yet to make an appearance. Of course, the ones who appear later will definitely carry more weight than the ones now.

Luckily, there isn’t any fear of announcements like “Wrap this up in X number of volumes!”. Quite frankly, it’s all thanks to everyone. Please continue to support me going forward!

Right, so for this time’s thoughts… Ah. That scene where *someone* got close to Raishin’s *something*.

“MAKE THIS MORE SEXY AND EROTIC!”

I was taken aback by what was written in the manuscript revision instructions.

Such sharp words fenced me in. Truly, the person who wrote those must have been shouting in his mind.

With that as the background, this was a scene where my editor Shouji-san poured his heart into making. It’s definitely not because of my own carnal desires leaking out. Please don’t make the wrong assumption.

Speaking about the manuscript, I am once again indebted to Shouji-san and Ruroo-san. Thanks to their excellent advice, the finalised draft experienced a great jump in quality from the first draft. I hope I can count on you in the future as well.

Once again, Ruroo-san’s illustrations were fantastic, so thank you very much. Irori is very cute, Irori really is. Also the twins. Even though you were so busy, you took the time to draw the jacket cover for the special edition and also the various special order bonuses… With you Ruroo-san, Machine Doll is really such an enjoyable series.

Also, Takagi Hakaru’s comic version of Unbreakable Machine Doll is also on sale now, coming out a few days earlier than this book. Please check that out as well. You will definitely be healed by Yaya, who looks more like a girl there than in the novel, and Sigmund, who looks even more like a tiny animal, so why not take a look!

Also, Magnus and his squadron, which have not made an illustrated appearance in the novel, will make their appearance there. Of course, their character designs were handled by Ruroo-san. Those people who are particular about canon have already been taken into consideration.

Right now, Kaitou Reiji is hard at work at Machine Doll volume 5. Right now I have a migraine because I’m worrying about how to make this story good, even if just a little bit. While at the same time I try my best to run away from reality… The story is only just beginning, so please continue to read the next volumes!
