Significant Edits[edit]

Hello Ddrddr,

first of all welcome to the wiki, and thank you for your contributions.

Now to the task at hand, as the title suggest, Smidge comment has brought your contribution to my attention, and while we value all constructive contribution, I have to agree with his query of your edits.

They are, by our standards "significant" changes.

Understand that unless you are the current registered translator designated for publishing scripts for that chapter, of that novel (series).

Edits such as yours, are encouraged to discuss them before application to the intend script.

Please understand that while some users who do not agree with them, can easily revert your edits, (which is a simple factor of wiki life) it seems such a waste of the good will of a contributors effort for this to happen, especially when such edits are usually accepted.

I do not wish to see this happen, so in order to prepare to prevent such unfortunately incidents, please discuss your ideas and proposed edits in the forum in future, this not only brings your ideas to the attention of the Baka-Tsuki staff but to other users, thus allow us all to value the merit of your proposal and if necessary give you constructive advice or criticism.

This way when you do apply these edits, you will have the general feeling of the communities view on your edits, and a measure of protecting in preventing them from being reverted by other users or staff.

I hope you will consider this advice carefully and I will look forward to your next contribution.

sincerely,

Alright will do. I tried my best not to lose any of the meaning of the translations with my edits, but it _is_ in need of a good rewrite to make it more readable.

I'll head down to the forums then, I suppose.
