Kaze no Stigma[edit]

Miss Ayame, thank you a lot for translating Kaze no Stigma LN. It has been an interesting read. Coming to the point, I noticed spelling and grammatical errors and some inconsistencies in the translation (no offense intended). So I would like you to give me permission to re-edit the volumes 3,4,5 and 6 of the main series. Please give me 8-10 days, I will be sure to give you a good end result. I will start editing only when you give me the permission. So, kindly reply. And if you need help of an editor in English, please let me lend you a hand. ~ Fallguy Sid -03:45 23 May 2015 (GMT)

I just caught up with KnS recently and I absolutely love this story! Thank you so much for translating!! it's funny that you have so many copies of KnS novel but I would say reading your profile inspires me to pick up Japanese just to read the KnS novel as well ;p I'm looking forward to more translations of the KnS Ignition volumes (hopefully!). Just can't get enough of the hilarious interaction between Kazuma (kyaa!) and Ayano!

thanks for your hard work ^^ i just saw update at kaze no stigma, and so i decided to drop by, hope you don't mind :)

ah, by the way i've a question, do you think you'll translate more chapter/s? because if you're going to do so, could you put your name at registration page here. well, basically it won't become conflict because i think none working on this series other than you...but, it's something like regulation..so i think it's better if you follow it...you just need to put your name beside the chapter you're translating.. ^^ it's to prevent two or more translator working at the same chapter. ^^

nah, that's it. i hope you've a great day --Tony Yon 12:12, 21 July 2012 (CDT)

Greetings. And I think registering acts like a beacon to draw even more translators and editors lending hands. Like Kino no Tabi, and Indonesian version of Sword Art Online.Hehe...-/-User753-Talk- 12:34, 21 July 2012 (CDT)

Thanks for translating Kaze no Stigma Ignition v1 chapters. If I said I know a site where you could get the raws for all volumes would you be interested in translating them? Zero2001 - Talk - 07:55, 22 July 2012 (CDT)

Thank you so much..... I love you already!!!!!!

im sorry if some messages were disturbing, but that how they show they appreciation. i'm here to let you know that your translation is very much appreciated. we are not asking for a fast update, but please keep it monthly at least--WhatZupp (talk) 05:37, 21 March 2013 (CDT)

Thank you for your comments, they are much appreciated and I will try my best to translate some more but I can't promise.

Thank you for the translations. A request, instead of translations of some Japanese specific words, can you leave them as it is? Like using onee sama instead of older sister, cause it feels out of place.

I'll replace them. Thanks for reminding me! --Ayame

Have you watched Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? If not, you definitely should! The main character Izayoi Sakamaki reminds me of Kazuma since both of them are ridiculously strong. Its so sad that there's only 10 anime episodes even thought theres about 6 or 7 volumes of light novels I think. Still, the anime is worth watching! Thanks for the Kaze no Stigma translations aswell :D --Code06

Thanks for recommending it to me!
I've seen the first episode some time ago and I think I'll wait until there are more episodes but yeah it has a strong protagonist. what I really enjoied this season was Psycho Pass and Shin Sekai.

translation related, this morning my motherboard went to the motherboard heaven and won't ever come back so until I buy a new laptop I won't be able to update. Somehow I don't get the feeling my Nexus 7 is very translation friendly. Sorry to all the KnS readers. --Ayame

OK I'm back to business. I want to translate some more!!! --Ayame

try reading Kill No More <chinese Novel> Strong (maybe OP) MC, same author with 1/2 Prince, currently translated by japtemdotcom. I'm not asking to translate it but want to suggest for you to read it ;D (ignore if its in your reading list).

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw updates on KnS page (although I was quite slow to notice). I'm so glad someone picked this series up again after all this time. Thanks a lot! --Antanaru (talk) 16:45, 11 October 2013 (CDT)

Congratulations on finishing Kaze no Stigma (?). I remember finishing reading volume 2 some time ago and thinking it was a shame this wouldn't be finished. Pleasantly surprised to see it completed and looking forward to reading it when I get the chance :) --Drowzycow (talk) 19:56, 30 December 2013 (CST)

Hi there - thanks so much for your work on KnS! I love the series, and really hope to see the rest of Ignition get translated. I'm an experienced editor/writer, and would love to help out if you need it. Elizabethannmiller (talk)

Hello, is there any tense formatting for Kaze no Stigma? I was looking at the format guideline discussions, and I saw a thread about it. I was wondering if you preferred to have past tense for events and present tense for speech, or anything like that. I started editing a chapter in gdocs for you to look at and decide if it's something you want. Also, I apologize for editing the format of your talk page a bit.

Frankly I haven't thought about it, I just went with the (translation) flow. But as a matter of fact I read volume 6 last week, a loong time after translating it and noticed some past tense mistakes but didn't have the time to correct them. If you could address them I would be very happy. And your corrections for volume 4 look awesome!! Please continue if you can. You can change the text however you want. Ayame (talk)
