I'm a hardcore anime/manga/light novel fan. Why else would I be here?

My name is Jacob, I'm 23 years old. I've been reading manga and watching anime my whole life.

I recently (About 4 months ago) was introduced to Light Novels and instantly fell on love with them, and Baka-tsuki. I work full time as a Counseling Psychotherapist in Michigan. I went to Stanford University for my Psy.D. My first language as you can probably tell is English, however I am also fluent in German, and I'm beginning to learn Japanese. I want to learn Japanese so I can help translate some novels here on Baka-Tsuki, though it will be a while before I can help in that area. In the mean team I hope I can help edit some projects that need/want any extra help. I'm more or less always available since of how flexible my work environment is. When I'm not seeing a patient, I can do whatever I want and my boss does not care at all. I do have a Skype but I won't be sharing that publicly. I don't use any social networking websites since I find them pointless and stupid in any and every way possible.
