Style: Making sure that sentences make sense in English is really important. If a sentence doesn't work in English then it probably would not make it into a translated copy of the light novel by a US or European country. Think Spice and Wolf's translation. It is truthfully true to the original text but took the company 1 year per volume to create so they could collaborate with the author. A translation is not complete until the text mirrors the language that it is supposed to be in. Specifically, Japanese does not have the same sentence structure as English does, so it is important to be true to the text but liberal in the changes one can make.

Aim: Creating a truthful but well-English-ed work.
