Decidedly amateur editor (in the LN context, anyway); personal goal is to get away from the formal/academic/calcified writing style that's taken over my life over the years.
Native (USian) English language skills, truly horrible French, and conversational Mandarin Chinese (emphasis on conversational, ~0 written)
LN preferences: Well-written. If pressed, I guess - creative, intelligent, offbeat, or dark. I'm not elitist in my tastes, though moe-excess is a turnoff.
