Well, there are a few possible answers to your question. One of them being that chapter 4 of volume 3 was posted about a month ago, so it has in fact been updated within 3 months; it just wasn't added to the updates section. However, you would likely be able to find some other "Active" projects that actually haven't had updates, and the answer there is that the person who maintains those tags hasn't had time in for at least half a year or so; we'll probably get rid of them at some point. --Cthaeh (talk) 23:18, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

Ah thanks! I hadn't noticed the update a month ago, and had been checking up on it for a few months, and had been a bit annoyed by it saying it was active because then i would scroll down to find that nothing had changed, which was why i finally decided to say something. And as for the Active being maintained by someone, why not just a make a small code change to handle that. something along the lines of If page has been edited in 90 days, show this. If not, show this. If/If Not codes are usually pretty simple, and could save some time for you guys.--TorrentAB (talk) 15:31, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

If it was that simple they would have done that ages ago. I mean someone could then just edit a page to keep a project on the active list and how do you differentiate an edit vs a translated portion? If you make it detect x characters or something someone could post the most random shit, delete and viola the page says active for another 3 months. In other words there is no easy way to detect if a novel is actually active unless it can actually check the content is a proper translation which would require a raw database to cross check and actually be able to translate somewhat. Obviously a raw database could not be used because that would violate baka-tsuki's policy on raws. You could however add something that automatically tags a page as one of the inactive tag to cut down on the workload for the person who tags stuff. It would be a little harder than a simple "if" but wouldn't be that hard.
