Tiny update - I added myself under Translators and Editors. I've been working on this in small bits and pieces for the past few years, mostly editing because I have the original Japanese novels at home in front of me. I mean, if the volumes listed on the main page have been published or at least are available on the web, can't they be translated and posted? Even though it wouldn't finish the story it is still better than nothing. Especially annoying where the anime left off. I hope that does not coincide with the last volume available. That would suck. Can you please continue to translate this light novel... I have been waiting for this since 2009; this light novel is so good(better than the anime)... I'm dying to know if there is more progress between kazuma and ayano...I know you have to translate other light novels; but please continue :)

You're not alone in this, I want to see the remaining few volumes translated as well, but I'd guess there has to enough interest in this project before work gets started. - Destinyz

Wanting to help in the project.

Hi, everyone. First of all, thanks for the hard work you all have put in translating this novel. I would like to contribute in the Kaze no Stigma project as an editor. Frankly speaking, all I know in Japanese is a handful of words. But I am quite good at English. Reading the main series, I found numerous spelling errors and a few grammatical errors. There are also certain inconsistencies. Please allow me to fine-tune the first 6 volumes as my first work. If you agree, kindly contact me. I don't really know much about Japanese words, but I bought the Kaze no Stigma Ignition novels, the entire series of it. Like I said earlier, I couldn't read Japanese words and I really want to find out what happened in the novel. Also, I'm new to Baka-Tsuki, just signed up not long ago so I'm still like, a beginner.

I am also new to Baka-Tsuki and hope to help too. I am bilingual in Chinese and English but not really much in Japanese. Similar to the guy? above me, I want to help in the project. So if anyone need an extra hand, feel free to call me. Cheers~Kanziel

12th Novel?

"It is with sadness we report that Yamato Takahiro, the author of Kaze no Stigma, passed away on July 20, 2009. While dedicated fans will continue to translate this series, there will likely be no new Kaze no Stigma material published in the foreseeable future, and to date the story remains incomplete at six main volumes and five short story collections."

Shouldn't this be changes, since there was a volume 12 published posthumously?
