Terminology[edit]

eroge[edit]

It seems to me that "eroge" should be pluralized as "eroge", not "eroges". Consider:

'anime' (s.) -> 'anime' (pl.) (Japanese loanword)
'sheep' (s.) -> 'sheep' (pl.) (a fluffy animal that likes cotton candy)
'fish' (s.) -> 'fish' (pl.), sometimes 'fishes' (pl. am_EN, multiple kinds only)

There's precedent, both for loanwords and native words. Additionally and more generally, using "eroge" as the plural form avoids issues of pluralization ambiguity in JP->EN TL, for which there isn't always an obvious indicator of whether the singular or plural form is required. Rather, it might be better to say "it preserves the ambiguity", but I digress.

electronic(s) street[edit]

I realize the CN TL apparently has it listed as 电器 (electrical device/appliance), but the original JP is 電気 (electricity / electric). My original edit kept "electronic street" since that was the TL's choice and didn't strike me as odd enough to check, and "electronic" and "electronics" mean completely different things—one is an adjective and the other is roughly equivalent to "electronic devices"—but on looking at the source, "electric street" seems more appropriate than either.

If "electronic(s)" is kept, though technically 电器 refers more to eletrical appliances (电子/電子 being for electronics, if memory serves in both cases), it feels more organic to use "electronic street". With "electronics" (EN) in this sense being shorthand for "electronic devices", "electronic device(s) street" feels odd, and not like something I feel a native English speaker would use. If we consider 电器街 as describing the street as if it were an electronic/electrical device itself rather than it had many such devices, "electronic street" seems more appropriate—the "device" aspect becomes redundant in my opinion.

It isn't wrong in English to string together nouns in such a manner, it just feels strange to say in this particular case.

For reference:

电器街 (zh_CN) and 電気街口の街並み (JA)

SNS Group Name[edit]

With 『オタクっ娘あつまれー』 being the group name and also in command form, as well as the name previously being TL'ed as "Otaku Girls Unite!" it seems as though we should stick with this choice rather than using "Otaku Girls United".
