"The Commandeering Student Council"

"To gain something, sometimes a forceful approach is necessary!"

As usual, Kaichou stuck out her small chest and proudly recited a quote from some book.

"Indeed," I say in agreement.

"In other words, you're saying if you want to get girls, you should hit on as many girls and attend as many mixers as you can!"

"Gu... that's an unpleasant interpretation, but well, there you have it. If you don't take assertive action, the surroundings won't change."

"Kaichou-san and Ken stir up the world too much as it is though."

Minatsu, who is by my side, sent a sharp look to both of us. Kaichou cleared her throat with a "Kohon."

"At any rate, along those lines, I got us on Dragon Magazine again!"

"A-Again? Mafuyu is very worried that we may be troubling Fujimi Bookshop..."

Mafuyu-chan muttered anxiously. True, if it's just publishing our own book then so be it, but when they're even helping us get published as short stories in a magazine... We're always under the care of Fujimi Bookshop.

But Kaichou stuck out her chest with a "Fu,Fun"

"That's fine, since it's a give-and-take relationship."

"We gave them something?"

"...I offered them candy the other day."

What a cheap gift. Kaichou cut the conversation with "It's fine!" No, I don't think it is...

"In any case, we're going to be on Dragon Magazine again!"

"Yes yes, I got it. Recording the meeting and submitting it as usual is fine right? Then, that's that. I'll do the rest."

As I sigh, I open up my notebook. Lately I've been refraining from complaining regarding the task of writing. Even if I did, it would be to no avail, and more than anything, wasting time here grumbling would only cause excess trouble for many people. If Fujimi Bookshop permits it, then I guess it's fine.

"You've become an adult haven't you, Key-kun," Chizuru-san kindly acknowledged. I crack my shoulders while smiling bitterly.

"I didn't want to learn this though."

"How about becoming an author in the future?"

"O, that's a good idea, Chizuru-san. If I get rich from royalties, I can have more leisure time with my harem too..."

"By the way, Key-kun, aside form this student council... can you write anything from your imagination?"

"Of course! If it's love comedies in which the girls are all over the MC then as much as I want!"

"...Ah, I see."

"Why are you looking at me with such pitiful eyes!"

"Well, isn't it fine? I hear people tend to idealize their own polar opposite..."

"What are you implying,!"

"I'm sure Key-kun would be able to write a good delusion... I mean love comedy."

"Ahh, I'm being praised but somehow my heart hurts!"
