Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu (俺、ツインテールになります。) is a Japanese light novel written by Mizusawa Yume (水沢夢) and illustrated by Kasuga Ayumu (春日歩). The publisher is GAGAGA bunko. An anime adaptation aired from Oct 10, 2014 to Dec 26, 2014 consisting of 12 episodes.

Story Synopsis (Amazon version)

To protect the Earth, I will become a twintail!

Mitsuka Souji is a normal high school student who has an abnormal love for twintails. One day, Twoearle, a mysterious, beautiful girl who said she came from another world, appears before him. And at the same time, monsters arrive in the town where Souji lives!

“Fuhahahahahaha! All the twintails in this miserable world will be ours!”

They are creatures from another world who feed on human spiritual power, Element Energy. Twoearle entrusts Souji with the Daydream Armor "Tailgear," activated by his powerful twintail element, and he transforms into a young girl twintail warrior, TailRed!

From this day, an aberrant battle with TailRed and a little bit of transformation has begun!

- I'm active again. Also, while I was fucking around, someone translated all of Chapter 3 (pastebin) and some amount of Chapter 4. Please check that out if you're getting tired of waiting. I will keep working on this version, though. It's nice to have more than one person doing it.
