This is an Anniversary?[edit]

Translator's note: Quick reminder: Anniversary-> Holiday

Yuuri: Everyone, thank you for coming. Uhm... I know it's sudden but I want to create an 'Anniversary'!

Günter: Ani, basari?

Wolfram: Who's that!? Is it a woman!?

Murata: No, no. It's 'Anniversary', in other words, a holiday.

Conrad: Why, all of a sudden?

Yuuri: It's not sudden. I mean, a while back Greta created "Father's Day", right? And after that, we created "Mother's Day" for Cherie-sama.

Günter: Now that you mention it, you're right.

Yuuri: And then, in the summer, we celebrate my birthday, right?

Murata: And in the autumn we have the Harvest Festival, right[1]?

Yuuri: Right, right. And so, when I started thinking: 'Is there something in the winter?', I couldn't think of a single thing.

Wolfram: But there are celebrations. The parties that you introduced: 'Bou-nen-kai' and "shin-nen-kai'[2].

Yuuri: We only hold those parties for the workers and family. I'm not talking about that type of private EVENT, you know? I was thinking more of an EVENT that could take place all over the country.

Günter: That sounds fun!

Wolfram: I see. It doesn't sound bad.

Murata: Hehe. You really are a man who likes holidays, huh?

Conrad: Could this be the fruit of Jennifer's education?

Yuuri: And, I know it's kinda sudden, but I wanted to gather you all to start planning...

Gwendal (from behind the door): Wait!

FX:*door opens and closes*

Conrad: Gwendal.

Wolfram: Older brother.

Yuuri: What happened Gwendal? You're late, even though you're always saying: "One must be on time for meetings"...

Gwendal: Fool! Uhm... no, I mean, despite Our Excellent Majesty the Maou, having carefully filled out the documents, I was making corrections to today's paperwork and that is why I arrived at this hour. I deeply apologize for making his Majesty wait[3].

Yuuri: Uhm.. I-I- am r-r-r-really sorry f-for... the trouble I've caused you. I'm sorry. I beg you, please don't be so courteous, Gwendal-san.

Gwendal: I just heard something about a holiday?

Conrad: Yuuri wants to create a new celebration for the citizens.

Yuuri: Yeah. For the winter season I wanted to make a BAM-super fun event.

Gwendal: Didn't we get the report of the financial affairs' supervisor just yesterday? No matter how big the surplus in our national treasury is, I'm not planning to let you waste it in useless, spur-of-the-moment recreational events.

Günter: Please, Gwendal! Don't make such close-minded assertion without considering how this will unfold. First, you should listen to his Majesty's ideas..

Gwendal: Günter, you need to be quiet now.

Yuuri: I-I'm sorry, Gwendal! Everything you said is completely right. But I wasn't planning on asking for a lot of money. I have a plan that involves the deepening of friendships, and also fun activities for children and animals, and also... right. I was thinking it would be great if we could use as little money as possible, somewhat of a 'handmade EVENT'.

Gwendal: Children and ... animals?

Günter: So, something like a welfare program and spectacle all in one, right? How wonderful, your Majesty!

Conrad: He's good, huh? Persuading Gwendal by including the words 'children' and 'animals'...

Wolfram: And to make his point stronger, he put emphasis in the 'handmade' part of the speech. Despite being a henachoko (rookie) that was a pretty convincing statement.

Murata: It doesn't take money, just time, right? Well, since this is the case, then Lord von Voltaire, why don't you help Shibuya with it?

Gwendal: If even the Lord Daikenja requests it, then it can't be helped.

Yuuri: Hooray! Well, I know it's short notice, but I really want to borrow your strength, Gwendal, for a very important mission, you know?

Gwendal: What is it?

Yuuri: And then, there's also something I want to ask Günter for...

Günter: Ah! Ask whatever you want!

-- -- -- -- --

Wolfram: Will this stuff really make people happy?

Yuuri: How completely pessimistic, huh? It'll be fine, because kids love getting presents.

Wolfram: But what will the children do with something like this?

Murata: Hey, you two! You're not moving your hands! If you have enough free time to talk, hurry up and start WRAPPING.

Yuuri: You're in an unusual high spirit Murata.

Murata: What are you saying? This is just a matter of work efficiency. Since everyone else is busy making other preparations, and over here it's only the three of us, we have to hurry up. It's almost time for the show and we're running out of time, right?

Yuuri: That's right, huh? It happened really fast and the beginning of the EVENT is tomorrow, right?

Murata: Speaking of which, it seems that Lord von Christ will barely manage to get the delivery to the Blood Pledge Castle in the evening, huh?

Yuuri: Will he make it here at all?

Murata: Since it's your wish, even if it costs him his life, he will make it come true. Well, he'll manage somehow.

Wolfram: And besides, he borrowed the Ultra-hyper hard running MA powered device "Fast-kun", from Anissina.

Yuuri: "Fast-kun" is that thing, right? That crazy banana BOAT. Will he be all right?
