Hi, can you help me out with Toriaezu's volume 4 chapter names? I just couldn't figure it out what it means... And I'm far from Japanese mastery, so if you happen to see something that needs to be corrected or if you have a better alternative translation, please feel free to change it. If it's regarding something major, will appreciate it if you can log a note on it using the code-hiding tags <!-- log --> or on the corresponding talk page. Thanks pal :). --Larethian 08:52, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

I think the first two are "Team Braves" part1/2. Purishiento....er, the only thing I can come up with is prescient. I guess I'll have to actually read the story to see whether it fits or not.

I thought it was Team Braves though it sounded odd. Anyway I'll use them provisionally. Thanks. And my, aren't you fast?? You need to stay here as a permanent translator!! :D --Larethian 16:35, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

LOL at Ryner's afternoon nap magic, thanks for your contributions, Def, but you can leave out the one-time occurrence in the novel, and whoever gets to it first can translate it first, as style consistency does not apply to one-time occurrence. The same goes with names of places like dango shops, one-time characters, etc. etc. Or the list will get too long :) --Larethian 09:51, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

Oh, okay I'll try to. But the list is basically complete - I won't expect it to grow significantly unless Kagami decides to do a magic boom in the last 2 vols.lol I stole the list from the wiki, so I wasn't sure which ones were one time occurrences, hehe. --Defade 10:28, 22 November 2010 (UTC)

The リュート thing makes sense now that you mention it.:) Still, I'd always read the 'ru' at the end as 'lle' instead of an emphasized 'lu'. idk, maybe we can compromise with Lutelle? Sabishigari is just the adjective form of sabishigariya, which can be translated like a thousand different ways ranging from fears loneliness/hates loneliness/gets lonely really easily/wants companionship/I want moar friends etc. etc. XD Another word that uses the same structure is 恥ずかしがり屋, if you've heard of it. It's mostly translated as shy, but the full version is that they don't like getting embarrassed but are easily embarrassed. It's really one of those things that doesn't have an exact equivalent in english...XD, but I personally just follow whatever the Chinese translators did with it. --Defade 11:05, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
