So I can edit all the thoughts into brackets? And use a different bracket style for the dead people part?
Leave those as is. As I said before it's an author/Chinese translator thing.
Editing based on what I can gather: Babies just grow sparse amounts of hair, however this baby's hair looked as though it was infected at birth with a blood-like red. She opened her eyes, looking at life first followed by the rays of light, then looking towards here(?)
the baby "looks at her position". Here is the spot where Minerva is.
P.S. Leave the () (-- ) (--... (...-- (... , as they are. ( can be inner thought so can--, -- can also be a slight pause or change in thinking from one idea to another.
P.S.S. Stop writing both on my talk page and the forums for TLC. Pick one and stick with it. Fastest way would be to write on my talk page.

Edit: I've changed all the "--" used in the narrative and speech to another style of dash\
DONT DO THAT. Again that -- is there for a reason. it's a pause. it's a change in ideas. or it's simply instead of ;DONT DO THAT.
