I am a native speaker of English from Massachusetts (Northeast US). I've always done well in English, though I'm no novelist or poet. I think my skills are more than adequate.

I am a native speaker of English (American). I have good knowledge of spelling, grammar, vocabulary, etc. and believe I am more than adequate for editing.

I am also somewhat competent in Spanish, and have very limited knowledge in Japanese, but not nearly enough for translation or editing.
I decided to start to contribute here since I have been regularly reading spice and wolf, toradora, and kaze no stigma - and some of the grammar or word choice was killing me. So why not do some editing myself? It would also give me a chance to contribute instead of just leech.

I might be looking to do some editing, but since I have never once posted in the forum, it's not very likely I'll be an official one anytime soon.
