Why is the gender pronoun changing for sylph from male to female, then back again. Should it be fixed?[[Special:Contributions/162.227.168.231|162.227.168.231]] 00:41, 25 July 2014 (CDT)

Rudus, initially confused Slyph as a boy, so the pronoun should be male, after Rudus discovers her real gender, all references to her should be female.

Why does it switch from using quotation marks for quotes to brackets? Shouldn't it be standardized as quotation marks? If no one has objections, I'll go through and change it myself.

This line

>Every time I see Paul train, I think of my first time.

I was much younger that time, and it was during the days in the dojo. The person was of course Paul, and it was a forced attack during the night. Even though I didn't hate him, but I didn't like him either. The first time wasn't very romantic, and I shed tears right then.

I'm I misreading this, or is the maid claiming that Paul raped her when they were younger?

“A forced attack” doesn't leave much room for misinterpretation. We were told he was a womaniser, but this doesn't seem to fit what we know of his character. Could it be a clumsy translation?

Edit: It's clarified slightly later in the story. Yes, Paul did indeed rape her. What the hell?

Kind of shocking how casually the novel is taking all of this.
