Dear prospective editor. Thank you for your interest in Unbreakable Machine Doll. Before you click on my talk page to ask whether you can be listed as an editor, consider this: I don't fucking need one. I can assure you I shoot grammatical errors on sight. What I do need however, is a dedicated editor.

What's that, you ask? A dedicated editor's job is to go through the English text for inconsistencies with the original raw JP text, and if you can perform at that level, why the fuck are you here? Go apply to be a translator, God knows we need a few more. --Hayashi s

:btw. that isnt neceassary true. A dedicated editor is usually an editor who works closely with the translator and looks for errors before the translation is even posted... sometimes the check for inconsistencies is part of it, but not always. --Darklor (talk) 05:27, 10 November 2012 (CST)

Excuse me Hayashi_s, but I don't think what you are doing is right. This is a wiki. You can't just throw everyone out. Posting stuff here means you have to understand that it's going to be edited. We've worked fine until now. But you've just used Teh Ping's changes to just shut all of us dedicated editors out completely. Not to mention you used such abusive language. Did something happen? ::Actually, If you don't want people to edit your work, you could ask for it to be protected. As for the past contributions of editors, I think you could list them as inactive, I believe that should shove the problem, they still have credit for the past contributions but they wil not edit your work anymore. I hope that you could continue translating but either ways i respect your decision . --113.190.233.9 (Talk)‎ 00:56, 7 November 2012‎

Are you still doing Vol2? Koakuma (talk) 09:39, 27 November 2012 (CST)

Hello.

 +
I took the liberty to format one section of the discussion by using identations (starting a line with one or more ":") (and LiTTleDRAgo did the other since, thanks).
:It's hard to know, but don't have your hopes high,it's normal to see a new translator to get bored midways... it's a very hard work, that's why we have to take care of the current translators... Pold10 (talk) 01:25, 28 November 2012 (CST)

As you'll note, it makes things much easier to read that way, so I encourage you all to use them.
Based on my discretion, Translations -might- have stopped. Thus, I'll be linking Shishi's UMD translations here (And yes, I had a go signal from him that he'll allow his translations to stay on BT, provided, it will link on his translation blog / wordpress)

Also, to avoid confusion, I'll start linking at Chapter 2 (Simple courtesy encase Paulywolly indeed finished Chapter 1)

I changed the link to prologue. It just didn't make sense to have a 1.5% complete page when we have a 100% (as far as I know) translation via link. Catahn (talk) 23:46, 30 November 2012 (CST)

:I did say it was simple courtesy in case Paulywolly does finish Chapter 1 lol Koakuma (talk) 03:30, 1 December 2012 (CST)

Links will now be hosted at Nanodesu's blog site. Vol 2 would still be the same, however, after Hayashi_s finishes the entire Vol 1, Vol 2 would be transferred over to nanodesu's site. Koakuma (talk) 04:06, 18 January 2013 (CST)

Is this project still running? Because Volume 4 has been translated a while ago, but here it doesn't show the status update and this is my first time editing a wiki so I have no idea how to do that... Robonxt (talk) 20:05, 28 February 2017 (CET)

*I don't believe anyone is currently working on this project. I believe the previous progress (volume 4+) was removed by its translator, and it's not reflected in the updates since it's no longer on BT. --Cthaeh (talk) 00:17, 1 March 2017 (CET)

NB : of course, also been looking at the discussion at hand, but that will wait for a bit later.

:It's a good idea but... If I may make a suggestion. I think you should do it alternately. Zero2001 - Talk - 09:27, 8 November 2012 (CST)

Hayashi s's work
Would anyone happen to know if hayashi s found someplace else to post his UMD translations?

Real shame something like that had to happen. I never had a chance to see it myself as I like to read my novels in order, but I hope that even if it wasn't on BT, his translations would still be available for other readers to enjoy. Hopefully he is still translating somewhere..

Anyone still in contact with him? - Sad Reader 23:39, November 12, 2012 (GMT+8)

The links for volume 3 are done wrong, the prologue opens volume 2's and the link for chapter 1 goes to v 1 c 01. Oddmoonlight (talk) 01:43, 22 April 2014 (CDT)
