Re: Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa
Just read the first volume. It was quite entertaining. Despite the somewhat awkward translation, the jokes were funny. The protagonist is a bit bland, but the girls are hilariously over-the-top. Especially Manami cracked me up all the time. Thanks for the translation, I'd really like to read more.

Re: Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa
Hello
Have is it someone here that have read the raw novels?
If the answer is YES, I need ask something
In the firsts chapters, the people (except the protagonist) speak of the moster tamer as a duty or obligation
Have is it some chapter or short history whose the protagonist found someone that by no means want to be a tamer, and he help to him/her to persuade the "International Demon Association" to remove his name (or identity, information, I don't know his method) from the tamer's list?
In this case, even the monsters don't like this tactic, they can't force a contract without a ring, and/or can say that it's have a error (the association's problem)
it sounds stupid such questions, I know, but for me it's is very important

Re: Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa
What I've read is what I've translated. Right now there are only five novels and I don't have knowledge about any short story. But speaking about "someone that by no means want to become a monster tamer", that's the main character, at least until a bit before the end of the first novel. Now, keep in mind that the IMA is an international assocciation and that each generation of tamers (Chiharu is from the 7th) has usually only some odd hundreds of members (if we suppose that the current active generations are 4th to 7th, that's at best 1,500 people among 7 billion Earth has, even less if you take casualties into account). From what I can understand, becoming a tamer is not an obligation, but if someone does not join, the monsters go into a rampage (you've seen what happened with the kraken, for example). Also, all members in a generation are chosen at the same time, so each one of the contactees has either become a tamer already or made the monsters go into a rampage, so no, unless something very weird happens, I doubt there is (or will be) a story with that plot you say.

Thanks for your answer
But even I imagine this answer, I must to ask
Personally, I'm a big fan of Pokemon, Megami Tensei and others tamer's theme series, but i hate the self-proclaimed fate/destiny that appear in very histories
I know that If was like said this is not history, but in the protagonist place, I absolutely would refuse become a tamer
I would allow the dragon die (her own problem for egoist and narcissist) and continue declining the others inents to form a contract (the IMA problem for not ask previosly) and even soeone does the same that this dragon I would be the worst possible tamer for get that they break the contract for her own self

Re: Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa
A lot of issues have prevented me from translating sice lat update, but I think I can return to the charge. Later today I'll upload something.
BTW someone with knowledge of japanese or chinese and no fear for spoilers, please check the afterword of volume 5 to confirm something. The fact that volume 6 hasn't been lined up yet coupled with the facts that the epilogue does not have a title and the only illustration in it shows what seems to be an Iris in her late teens (plus a Kyouko in suit) give the impression that the series may have ended.

(New "Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou"'s cover is quite eerie)
