Hagure Yūsha no Estetica (はぐれ勇者の鬼畜美学)

Akatsuki Ousawa was summoned to another world, where there is a Maou(demon lord). However, unlike most games or stories, he was not needed. There is already another hero in the world. In fact, they became friends. Things changed when Maou came to attack the city one day, and the hero sacrificed himself to protect Akatsuki. People condemned him for the loss of their hero. The world was brought into an age of darkness. Akatsuki left the city without a word...

Some time passed, and as the passed away hero's fiancee worked hard to rebuild the city that her late father, the king who too pass away then, Akatsuki came back, with enough strength to protect the people. The time he went missing was not in vain, he went into the deity realm to master a power so that he is capable of fighting back. He then led the people against the Maou and is worthy of being called a hero as well. Despite all his accomplishments, there are still those that resent him for the death of the ex-hero, and thus calls him a "Punk Hero", which he gladly accepts.

On the final night before the final battle, he sneaked into the Maou's castle alone. The battle raged, and a victor was born. With his dying words, the Maou entrusts his beloved daughter to him, asking him to bring her back to his world, where she would be safe, while at the same time end the meaningless war between the two races. Akatsuki thus leaves, with the daughter, leaving everyone behind, even the princess, who has also fallen in love with Akatsuki.

And so, Akatsuki returns back to his own world, bringing the Maou's daughter along. BABEL captures the dimensional rift caused during the dimensional travelling, and approaches the two. Perhaps a twist of fate? The Maou's daughter's name is very similar to his sister's and so Akatsuki gave the name "Muu"(is it?) to her.

A mission was given to Muu by the Maou, that she is to evaluate Akatsuki, and should he be unsuitable as a watcher or guardian, she should not hesitate into killing him. But interacting with Akatsuki made her have mixed thoughts, while at the same time she slowly understands that Akatsuki has intentions of taking on the entire world, as the name she bears is more painful than one could imagine.

Akatsuki's sister is dead, a long time ago, never to return. Thanks to Akatsuki's father and brother, who are in opposite ends of the world, one leading COCOON, the other the rebellion group. Just what can they achieve from a war that led to their own family's death? Akatsuki intends to challenge and beat the two greatest forces in the world to put an end to it once and for all...

A mysterious portal have appeared and brought chaous to the world. Monsters and demons keep appearing from that portal, so an organisation named BABEL was set up to fight these monsters from that gateway. A brash and delinquent Akatsuki Ousawa and his (adopted?)sister Muu was sent to attend an international high school under BABEL which specialise in fighting demons and monsters from that world. --from Fairgame

Please correct the entire Synopsis, it is clearly WRONG!

I wrote a blog post on this one as well...

Actual Synopsis:
first, allow me to explain the world setting a little:

In the story, it is not uncommon for people to be summoned or stumble into alternate worlds. However, during the travel to the other world, their body would be slightly altered, allowing them to use magic etc as per the world they are in. If they remain in that new world for a prolonged period of time, they would be treated as part of that world, never to return. Should they return before this time limit, they would return as with the powers they obtained. Thus, BABEL is formed, led by COCOON, to supervise and watch over these "gifted" people with powers. On the other hand, a rebel organization thinks that these people should be allowed to use their powers freely, and not have to be restricted by the rules that BABEL set for the peace of the rest of the world.
The good part, which is also the bad part, about the novel is how strong the main character, Akatsuki is. Due to his great capabilities, we see him do a lot of things in a manner people may think, but never put into action. Some of these actions include sexual harassment, causing many sexual scenes in the novels. However, this is at times done in a poor fashion. In many cases, several characters seem to portray having much greater power than Akatsuki, but this idea is usually easily toppled within a short while, making it all ambiguous how strong or weak he really is, as if toying with the readers. Other than that, he is the type of character I really like.

Main plot:
- Akatsuki brings Muu back, and they started living together
- The student council in BABEL and Akatsuki goes on REALLY bad terms (how happy can you be as a female if this guy just strips only your underwear off, with you almost never noticing nor consenting to it?)
- The student leader revealed to possibly be a member of COCOON, thus Akatsuki tries all ways of taunting him.
- Someone(some random classmate) looks for trouble with Akatsuki
- revealed that that someone was actually used by a member of the rebellion group
- Unknown infiltrator in school
- Unknown infiltrator revealed to be a Hero-wanna-be in Muu's world, here to slay Muu and Akatsuki
- Akatsuki and gang finally defeats the Hero-wanna-be, who made a pact with, and transformed into a dragon that Akatsuki once fled from.
- Akatsuki and gang returns to Muu's world, to settle some issues, so Muu can stay peacefully in his world
- Akatsuki and gang upon returning, soon decided to help the demon clan that are currently suppressed by humans, and Akatsuki declares himself as the next Maou
- Akatsuki fights his ex-comrades in a battle to prove his might, so as to enforce the signing of a peace treaty.
- Just before the signing of peace treaty, human forces moved into the demon clan's dwelling place, killing off some demons including the current chief of the village.
- Akatsuki declares war on human forces.
- Ex-hero(princess's fiancee) was resurrected, revealing shocking truth about Akatsuki being the one who actually killed him.
- Akatsuki leads his gang into defeating all the hostile human forces, scaring and beating them up.
- Victorious, Akatsuki returns to his world, with a small gift(the beloved and mesmerized princess)
- The three starts living together happily and peacefully (seems to want to live as a 3P group, if you know what it means), while events elsewhere seems to imply Akatsuki's father making his appearance soon.

Some erotic scenes(some are pointless and redundant if you ask me) includes:
Akatsuki and 3 girls are locked up in a storeroom in school. One girl *E-hem* pissed, and to salvage their relationships, Akatsuki ensures that they don't feel awkward with each other. (Simple, if you all been through the same thing, you won't feel awkward would you?)
Muu having over-sized breasts, making it hard to get a bra. She accidentally breaks one, and Akatsuki shows that its partly the salesperson's fault for the damage, by massaging and fitting Muu inside a bra himself.
Muu and a member of the student council, in a brothel, accidentally drinks some aphrodisiac, and Akatsuki sucks the "poison" out from all the moles on their body, some in certain hard-to-spot areas(climax unknown number of times).
Akatsuki salvages the mood between him, Muu and the princess through a molesting on the train such that they climax several times

I know, BABEL isnt an uncommon name. Can't recall what it stands for, but it might be a common term, or the author is like us, reads ZKC as well? =D

That aside, Hagure Yusha no Estetica is an interesting novel, in some ways reminds me KnS, just that this protagonist is much more aggressive and flirty, with a lot of unnecessary fan-service/content, thus losing the refreshing touch. It has its own charm, and its own coolness, just so long as they can improve the plot more, I will be happy.

Kaze no Stigma, a project I picked up, but due to my poor results in school, is put on hiatus until further notice.

The protagonist in KnS is strong yet gentle, and a little trouble maker. However, his love is pure and firm, thus it is NOT a harem novel, unlike this one. This one clearly portrays a harem novel, with two girls agreeing to share him together already. Others show indications of pursuing him and his goals, even though they do not know the gist of it yet.

How Harem this story goes:

Vol 6:
While the protagonist leaves to settle something, the two female leads sleep on his bed, leaving the the middle empty for his return.

Vol 7:
Muu suggests to the others to have her first sex with the protagonist while others(Second female lead and two classmates[not sure if one of them is included, since she is kinda underaged and was asleep when they were talking about it] and one of their new-found close friends) are around to watch/see. This is because she is afraid she is incapable to please him, since he is so popular and has had so much experience.

Seriously... I think this is over-doing it a little... Sorry, not a little, but a lot.

SPOILER ALERT:

A little more detail about Muu's death was revealed in Vol 7. There SHOULD be more elaboration in vol 8, or 9.
Spoiler! :
Muu's death has nothing to do with their father it seems. According to what was mentioned, it seems that Akatsuki's brother obtains a power that puts him among the strongest in the world, and for some reason was in a fight with Akatsuki. In order to put an end to their pointless fight, Muu suicides in front of the two of them. While their father had nothing to do with it, Akatsuki knows well about how strong their father is, and would have prevented the fight, or Muu's death, should he be at home. Even up to this day, his father has never returned, thus Akatsuki puts him responsible towards Muu's death as well.

I'm curious to read more, and it sounds ecchi too

It will probably gain more popularity and fame after or while the anime is running.

That's like mostly all of the light novels that I hear about these days. P:

Though there are a lot of people that would like to see it translated, the fact of the matter is there's just not enough people that can. =/

So, while I would like to see it translated, while the anime is in it's height, I highly doubt we'll have someone drop their current project, or put it on hold, to do this.
