As for Kikou Shoujo, it is a great series for people like me who dig for cute android girls  . But anyway please update your post in accordance with the New Project Petition Guidelines and add relevant information such as a synopsis.

Quoting Yaya, the main heroine, from page 1 of vol. 1: (*゜∀゜)=3

Holy devil, I didn't know that the title was actually that. I would have passed that if I didn't see the illustrations.

I found it great. :D

Actually, Yaya's the reason why I found this interesting to read. I mean, having her in the cover helped a lot?

Yeah, many of us, including me, are already hooked on that. Now, I'm waiting for Volume 7.

After reading the summary I gave the manga a try... Yaya's cute, hands down. Stories about living dolls and such generally get my attention anyway. Am I the only one that gets a slight Fullmetal Alchemist feeling from the story? I mean, it got potential for some interesting developments, the time period seems roughly the same as well.

Well, what else to say - Would love to see a teaser if someone is up for the job.

By the way, Kira, you said that you're waitin for vol 7... Is some good character development present through the volumes or do we get some status quo in terms of development?

Quantity over quality. Try guessing what it means.

Spoiler! :
"Yaya is really cute. Yaya is too cute. She's the cutest girl in the world."

The young maiden held her hands together, and said those words like a prayer.

Under the sunlight of the afternoon, the train flying on the railway blew its wistle—it was heading from London to Liverpool. In the second-class wagon, two people were wearing some exotic clothes.

From their appareances, it seems that they are Orientals, this pair of boy and girl.

It wasn't only their apparences that were strange, but also because they seem to be really lacking common sense. The young maiden's body was tended towards the young man wrapped in thick clothing while saying something at low voice.

"Yaya is too cute, I love you, Yaya, Yaya has so much charm, Yaya is my wife—"

That whisper suddenly stopped.

The young man opened both of his eyes, and gazed forward with a sharp look.

"......So you woke up, Raishin."

"What are you saying near someone else's ear?

"In order that Raishin loves Yaya, Yaya is reciting a charm."

"It isn't as good as you're saying it, right? You only want to pollute my spirits, right?

Completely igoring the blame on her, the young maiden heartily looked outside from the window and said:

"Raishin, look, we have already arrived at the 'Machine City'."

"Sigh, we've finally arrived. It has already been half a day since we've departed from London, I'm so tired that even my butt starts to hurt."

"The 'Greatest school in Western Europe', is very close now."

Said the young maiden with a smile on her face towards the young man.

"That school is to be attended full-time, right?"

"Yeah."

"The there wil only be the two of us alone in the entire night, right?"

"You can put it like that......"

"We can continue these sleepless nights then?"

"Nope. I want to sleep, OK? If you cause some mess I'll throw you out, OK?"

"............!?"

"Why are you putting an expression of grief as if you've been bulied. By the way, we aren't here to play."

The young maiden's face was recovered by a couch of haze, while her black pupils painfully shruddered.

"......it should be on this street that the Wiseman's night party is organized."

The young maiden immediately got a panicking expression.

"The magicians lauched that bloody party in order to choose the supreme ruler......"

*Image 1*

"Aah. It will entirely depend on you."

"Yeah. Just for Raishin, whether is it to jump through the water and to tread on fire, or to jum directly in your bed...<!-- お布団の中 is to jump in a futon, but I could be wrong...-->

"Let's forget about the bed."

"Is this what we call a virg-" <!-- 青头仔 is the word used, and I have no idea how to translate it.-->

"What are you sayin? What the hell are you saying with that pure face?"

"If it is Raishin's wish, Yaya will accept whole-heartly, with dedication, even if it's outside or under the stares of the public."

I remember betting this or Tokyo Raven will get an anime, so seeing this light novel translated would be nice.

I'd say this, since the attract of an extremely cute Yaya seems more selling. Though Tokyo Ravens is the heck of a novel, and has a better plot than this, I think. By better, I mean a bit more developed.

Sounds very much like a mistranslation on the part of a JC translator, who didn't do enough research and pulled substitutes out of the thin air for terms s/he doesn't know.

The original is:
「それは、いわゆる、青か・・・」
Yaya probably meant "青姦(あおかん)" but she was interrupted. It isn't too appropriate to elaborate its meaning here but you may check its dictionary and wiki entries.

How should I translate 青姦 then? From what I've understood, it's either sleeping under the skies or having a sexual intercourse outdoors, but is there an adequate word for this in English?
