Is Volume 5 the final volume? The titles of the chapters give me the feeling that it's the final volume...

Re: Hyou-Ka: General
No it's not. Author hasn't said anything about ending it.NiMx1233 wrote:Is Volume 5 the final volume? The titles of the chapters give me the feeling that it's the final volume...
virox, from what I understand, those rooms cannot be locked from the inside unless you have a key. Toogaito, being the president, has the key with him when he was inside smoking. Somehow the text doesn't directly mentions that, though the anime episode does.

Re: Hyou-Ka: General
Good news, but the author is a slow writer(I guess), it takes him years to publish a new volume.

I just wanted to drop by and thank you for your hard work translating this! I am currently reading volume two and I am enjoying it a lot! I'm actually sort of hoping an English publisher comes along to licence this, that way I could properly put these in my book shelf.
Anyway, keep up the great work, I am truly grateful!

I don't think there is, but the version released after the anime has the characters on the cover.

Re: Hyou-Ka: General
I took advantage of the holidays to clear up Chapter 3 and 4 of Volume 3.
Though starting next week I'll be headed home to my folks, so I won't have time to translate.
And after that school resumes next month, which means an even hectic schedule.
Updates will be sporadic from now on until at least the summer holidays in August.

S'okay Kenny ... your work is very much appreciated.

Thanks Kenny for the translations.
Hope to see you work on this from August onwards or whenever you find time. This is indeed a very interesting "type" of mystery series and I was just craving for some more.

Re: Hyou-Ka: General
Do you guys need editors for Hyouka? I'd like to sign up because I don't have much going on in my life for the next 5 weeks, and even after that, not so much. I rewrite to make the text sound more natural in English, so I generally rewrite a few sentences around. Of course, if that's off limits, then just tell me and I'll stick to the guidelines.
