Erm, I'm not sure what you guys are talking about, since H0shi (the blogmaster of Crazy Cake), doesn't do nor post translations of his own. He either post raws or machine translated texts. Even for Itsuten, he used my translations to supplement his own understanding with his basic Japanese knowledge. Just saying.

i was wondering if some1 should inform oni (or some1 that have access to this in the wiki) so the project appears in the list on the left and not in teaser anymore =P

I love this light novel. It's way better than the manga, which was all over the place. I started reading it with mixed feelings because of this, but I'm blown away with how much better it is. I love it even more than the index series. Index has way too much going on with a main character who feels more like a plot device than an actually developed individual. While the setting is cool, it's too messy for me to really enjoy, and while I know the translators/editors are trying their best, due to the complicated nature of the plot, I know I'm missing a lot due to either translation mistakes or inconsistencies.

With Heavy Object, we get a main character who feels like a main character, and at least for now, there doesn't appear to be a cast of 30+ people all trying to steal the spotlight. Also, I really love the setting, more so than the one in Index since in H/O, it doesn't feel like the possibilities of what they're saying is too far off. Obviously, not the whole monstrously huge objects, but more about warfare without actual people and what happens when people who have been taking a "peaceful" battlefield for granted are suddenly forced to fight.

All in all, thank you very much for translating this and I can't wait to read more.

Hmm should we change HEAVY OBJECT to Heavy Object? Using Caps for a title name always feels weird to me. Unless its there because its the name of an organization or other noun along that line. Then, it can't be helped I guess...

Changed the text version of the whole novel back to Full Text on the side of the volume number, so people using the B-T app for android and etc. can access it better.

Also, I didn't really like how the author handled what happened at the end of volume 2, chapter 2. It felt extremely forced

I mean, Qwensor is presented as this pretty smart guy with a bit of an ero side....but what he did felt extremely out of character because of the brazenness of it and the sheer stupidity. And the way it worked out felt more like a "it's happening this way because the author wants it to happen this way" rather than a natural conclusion to that series of events.
