Synopsis:
Usagawa Rinne, a normal female high-school student, was spending her days happily with her lover, Sakaki Guryuu (also her teacher). However, the peaceful days shattered suddenly, On the night of Sakaki's birthday, Sakaki witnessed Rinne get killed after her eyeball was gouged out by a girl named "Gankyuu Eguriko" as well as witnessed Rinne revive as if nothing had happened. To the shocked Sakaki and confused Rinne, Gankyuu Eguriko speaks of an "Eden's Apple".

It might be good to do a series that is completed, so that BT can say we have one whole novel under our belts, but at the same time, there's the danger it might be licenced.

That is a good synopsis. Any more is a spoiler beyond chapter 1 of volume 1.

I don't really feel it matters whether there is a license danger or not.
1. There is no sign this will be licensed.
2. Every novel out there and in translation has a danger of being licensed anyways.
3. If a company like Viz licenses it, the tranlations will be localized (like in, no honorifics). If Seven Seas licenses it, we might as will hibernate and wait xx amount of months.
Or something like that.

As far as I can see, it's a good book. I don't have the nerves to translate it though... But I have the first two pages done (for no real reason).

I'm fairly sure if you Google '虫 眼球 轻小说' you'll find a Chinese version Curious about this novel, seeing as it's by the same author who wrote the Kyouran Kazoku Nikki series.
