From what I gather from Doraneko's explanations, yes, once you are a "riajuu", you're pretty well-off for the rest of your life. It sounds a lot like being/having reached upper middle-class, or maybe even "middle" middle-class and "lower" upper-class (personally, I'm not quite sure where the boundaries are, but w/e). Thinking that way, you have "won", I guess?
If you meant to suggest "winner" as a translation... personally, I don't quite like it. It's too vague. Fits neither the "NOT-otaku" nor the "successful/well-off"

(If these don't fit your question, my bad, but honestly, I had to guess what you want)

Still, that doesn't help with a translation for "riajuu". I can't think of something that covers both the "NOT-otaku" and the "successful/well-off" aspect, and if you can't think of something either, I suggest looking for a word that fits one of the aspects exceedingly well and have the other work out through context. I think it will be made clear in the text that the boy's goal is to stop being an otaku. That's why even if the translation you end up picking for "riajuu" doesn't imply the "NOT-otaku" by itself, it will be clear enough in the context of this story, I think. If you find a word that's only been created lately for such people "that made it", one that hasn't been used for ages and tons of connotations attached, even better. That way people will relate the "NOT-otaku" more easily and "riajuu" is new, too, after all...
The other way around (fitting "NOT-otaku" and implying the success) might be possible as well, but I imagine it to be way more difficult in the context of this story. It's about stopping to be (or becoming) an otaku after all, so that should come up more often than the success.

And it is even better as a salaryman?

And Riajuu doesnt means "Real Man" ?

Is it a story like Train Man – Densha Otoko ?

Salarymen are the workforce, the bulk, the masses, so no. They might have been salarymen in the beginning, long long ago, but you don't call the master apprentice, either, just because he started as one

And no, it's not "real man" either, since riajuu is not about manliness or being a man at all, and "real man" isn't about having succeeded or having a good reputation in society.

Hm, k if you say so - thought real man could have it been since its often seen as the opposite of nerd...

So the next try: how would be (prime) mover ?

Shall now be used once more.
If you were created to save this world,
If there is a single shred of hope left for the future of mankind,
I am very sorry, but, please begone!

Whoa, noticed the new teaser page just pop up

Sounds interesting, though I'm not really into either of oreimo or toradora so not sure if I'll like this..

Btw my take on the Riajuu translation is that what is currently in the teaser page is good.
