Now the current system is that the English page acts like the center and links to alt lang from there.

I would like to redo that.

First page, we would have a general synopsis, ISBN and misc stuff, maybe 1 cover image.
This page will link to BT translation projects.

Project_Page In those pages: There'll be the registration page, and chapter pages. Info of project members and etc
Hopefully, the chapter names can be codified in some sense.

Project_Page/EN Just a general idea, I haven't thought much about the details.

I would very much like to make accessibility to all of our alternative languages for a project all that more easier and transparent.

But i will confess i have a hard time visualising your concept.

Would you be able to make a mock page on the wiki so that we can get an idea of what you are talking about?

It's just the url being for strictly defined.

Actually as of now, like after the adoption of the category tags, alt lang can be more easily found should the page creator tag it properly.

Basically, you want to make a page with, instead of the English stuff directly displayed, a menu that forces you to first select the language you want? If so, then dislike. Alternative languages are, at best, a niche. Most people are here for English tls. Hence you force one more click on those for no gain. French would deserve sth like this.

This will have the same effect as the sidebar change for readers. While this last change is understandable, the proposed one is not really a good idea.
