Yes, it's the 7 side branches of the Yotsuba clan

From the spoilers I've read for volume 15; he sees Tatsuya use mist dispersal and asks him what the magic is, but Tatsuya refuses to answer. He doesn't know he's a Yotsuba though.

Thanks for linking the detailed spoilers and the source. I feel so much more at peace now after reading it. I went over to animesuki and compiled the rest of vol. 15's [detailed] summaries and added it as a comment to your post over on wikia.
edit: it's at 33k word count summary now for just vol.15 >.<
