Why did you pick "Handball" for the sports for okabe-sensei?

I've never heard of that sport, until now. (had to wiki it)

why didn't you pick something more common, like, say softball, basketball, netball or something?

true. but back then we didn't have any Female Beach Volleyball so it was the next best thing.

Not to say we didn't have any female volleyball teams, but it just had a limited number of members, and the uniform wasn't as fun to watch.

Netball on the other hand can have up to seven players plus substitution/reserves.
So more girls to the sport.
