Our translator has gone missing...

This is the one series I am most interested in reading. Any further work on it would be both appreciated and greatly enjoyed.

Well, the support is obviously here.

I hope so, anyway. I'm not sure if I'd be terribly helpful or not, but I've had some experience proofreading things and would be happy to lend a hand with editing if somebody else would be willing to do the translation.

You know Japanese or Chinese?

I'm fairly confident that I know more than the average anime fan, but I don't think I would use the word "fluent" to describe my knowledge. Honestly, my ability to help on a project like this is less than I'd like it to be, but I am willing to put my money where my mouth is. If there should be any need for editing and proofreading to help raise the quality of the translation and make it more readable in English, I'm willing to do that.

To put it another way, I want to read this series enough that I'm willing to help the project as much as I can.

Correction to above: Honestly, not Honesty. I hate my keyboard sometimes. Fortunately, I do editing work with a different one to avoid these missed keystrokes.

Anyway, that's fine. I certainly don't expect anybody to go out of their way to suddenly help just because I'm volunteering for this particular project, so I'm okay with waiting until a translator is both willing and available. I'll try to conform to their schedule, rather than the other way around. I'm not on this forum particularly often, so sending an email or a PM will probably reach me faster if you'd like to get ahold of me.
