This is just a general survey, which may be a useful reference in the future, especially when we get more translators faster than we lose them .

If say, hypothetically speaking, you have all the time in the world, what are the LNs (can be existing or non-existing on Baka-Tsuki) that you will want to translate but are not doing so because of lack of time? Leave out those you're already active on. Use the poll for this: if there are more translators for that LN(s), will you consider working on it?

My current list of "Want to translate but no time"(not in order of preference):
1. Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai
2. Seitokai no Ichizon
3. Rental Magika
4. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai
5. Shakugan no Shana (if there are 5 competent translators with good track record, or else 10 needed)
6. Kore wa Zombie desu ka

I certainly want to get a lot more translated if I have all the time in the world.

My current list :
1. Kami-sama no Memochou
2. Ben-to
3. Rakuin no Monsho
4. Durarara

Will probably included in the list after further reading :
1. Kore wa Zombie Desuka
2. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai
3. Mismarca Monogatari

Well, it's a moot point though since I barely caught up on reading them. Translating them will be too much.

- Rental Magica
- Kino no Tabi
- Shakugan no Shana

I'll probably start up RM or salvage KnT from the dead when I'm done with Mimizuku to Yoru no Ou. As for the poll, I think in all cases the time required and difficulty of translation varies a lot from series to series, so I don't feel like the number of other translators working on a project is a good measure. It all just depends.

I am the kind of guy who does a chapter from different novels, as you may already notice. But, here's my list:

Shakugan no Shana (I'd probably never have the time to do that)
Baka Test (Easyness makes me look this project)
Sword Art Online (At least I'm helping proofreading a bit...)

There's also teasers like Kore wa Zombie or Ninomiya-kun which I consider. Especially Ninomiya-kun.

The only things I have any real motivation to translate besides finishing off my existing HnA work are the Demonbane novels and Ginban Kaleidoscope...

And even then only select volumes due to severe unfeasibility of doing everything

Okay, seriously, I might have to change what I said. Marmite's out (upbringing issues).

Right now, I'm getting requests for Slayers, DenYuuDen, Seitokai, Aria, ZnT, CSR, Nogizaka Haruka, SAO, Rental Magica, BWTGS, Kami-memo, Dantalian no Shoka, Ben-to, --gataris and so on... Sooner or later, I'm going to need a poll...

I only translate things I love. that's the only reason why I can translate fast (even though I'm slow).

but then again, I probably can't translate much after next year, so it's like do-it-while-I-can kind of thing.
