well, I really didn't see the latest chapter coming... but since the author's decided to take this path, that means we'll see the population revived at some stage. But at what cost?? That's the big answer we're all waiting for. Looks like some heads will roll...

I knew the author wrote the whole story before it was serialized but damn she really didn't used a cop-out to bring all those people back. There was a reason why Hon. did that thing earlier. I felt wow it all falls into place along with Scar's purpose. My god it was worth the wait. 67 pages of WOW!

The WoW Factors just keep coming. Ed's badassness to use his soul to fight against pride was awesome and espically with the unexpected cameo from Kimblee who is still la douche but at least towards Pride. Question. So Father is basically the "cushion" this whole time? Did he basically restrict how much energy flows to the alchemist around Ametris? If so does that mean every alchemist is powerful like if they did had a philosopher stone judging how Ed is saying how easy it is to use alchemy?

Basically, western alchemy is controlled by Father to limit their potential.

Think of him as a filter. Most of the energy will be collected by Father while the few leftover will be used by the surface.

You can also think of it as if he's monitoring the flow to find his potential sacrifices and kill off anyone trying to make a philosopher's stone without his permission.

Eastern alchemy and western alchemy are pretty much the same but Father never allowed it to advance that far

Wow Al, just wow. I hope it doesn't end with Ed finding Al or something. I rather hope Hoenheim sacrifice himself to save Al. As much badass he is this should be one of the few fatherly things he should do for his son.

I never realize the significance of why ending fullmetal on chapter 108 until I realize is going to be exactly 9 years since it was released.

damn it made me sad. I've been reading it since I finished the 1st anime.

unfortunately it didn't change my life. well the 1st anime did but because of that the manga lost that impact on me. I've seen it as one of the best rollercoaster ride I've ridden but at the end the fun must end. That's how I view the manga. it didn't made me a better person nor a moral person. It just made my heart bump each month with excitement.

So the question is how did it changed you?
