Well, I'm surprised that their is no topic about the Pokemon video games here, so I decided to create one.
But... I'm not the only one who is playing it, right ?

You're not alone -- I'm also playing the latest installment way more than I should be. I'm slowing down, though, having beaten the Top 4 and running out of new stuff to discover. All in all, great game I have to admit.

I've put in 12 hours and have 2 badges. I don't know what I'm doing with my life.

Me too. But is it me or this new game is easier than the last one ? For example, the exp. share who give exp to all of your pokemon...EusthEnoptEron wrote:You're not alone -- I'm also playing the latest installment way more than I should be. Too many good games came out at the same time ;(Devenk83 wrote:You don't play enoughinaban wrote:I've put in 12 hours and have 2 badges. I don't know what I'm doing with my life.
Leveling up is easier with the xp share definitely, but I don't think it really takes away from anything. Pokemon seem a bit tougher to catch, at least at early levels compared to other games, but maybe thats just me.

Really ? I think their easier to catch, on the contrary...
I caught Yveltal with only one Ultra Ball, and for 75% of the other pokemon, I catch them with one Quick Ball.

Heck, I caught Yveltal with a quick ball in the first turn without even weakening it. I also disabled exp. share for a while to increase the difficulty, but it's an awesome feature to level up quickly.

It took me awhile to catch Yveltal especially since I killed it more than once with my 100lvl sylveon. In the end I finally snatched it with a ultra ball or was it pokeball, i am not sure but I have it.

Re: Pokemon
I haven't played XY in a while, but I enjoyed them lots!! It was such a pleasant surprise after gen IV and gen V to me. It's the little things that really make me enjoy it, like the trainer customization and interacting with one's party. I spent way more time watching Pokémon like Pumpkaboo and Skitty being adorable instead of actually playing, lol.
Still hoping for gen III remakes though >_< RSE will always be my favorites.
