The Wii and PSP versions are entirely different though...
And besides, I meant the Japanese MH3. It's not like you need to know Japanese to understand the game...

Re: Wii-Must haves?
That depends on what exactly it is... A lot of things are pretty easy to figure out but some like story are pretty much impossible if you don't understand the language...
I mean I played games in English before I even knew what the heck languages were so it is possible.

Can I say something about destiny? Screw destiny! If this evil thing comes we'll fight it, and we'll keep fighting it until we whoop it. 'Cause destiny is just another word for inevitable and nothing's inevitable as long as you stand up, look it in the eye, and say 'You're evitable!'

Re: Wii-Must haves?
The only things you really need to know are skills, items and equipment but that's pretty easy with Google
You'll eventually remember the name of a monster once you fight it enough

Since monster names are generic...
But for the rest is understanding of a language useful...

Re: Wii-Must haves?
Not really. You can pretty much just Google for everything you need.
You won't be using like 70% of the stuff you can make and again, you can just Google to find what you need
