Re: Headphones
However Im quite easygoing about the sound quality issue. As long as I can hear something without static or something like that Im pretty much okay. Its not perfect but w/e.

I assume that you have issues with ear fatigue then.

Ear fatigue. I just run for 2 hours a day and have my iPad at max volume.ainsoph9 wrote:I assume that you have issues with ear fatigue then.

Re: Headphones
That is not what I mean. I am referring to the fact that listening to music on crappy speakers with low quality files makes it hard on your brain. Your ears hear everything that goes into them, but your brain has to fill in the gaps that are present in low quality music. This applies especially to digital music. Your brain can only do this for so long, which is why people will get tired of listening to music much of the time. Their brains simply cannot do it forever.hobogunner wrote:Ear fatigue. Re: Headphones
Ah, so if the recording is from a CD it's considered mixed perfectly, the only imperfections possible are it transferring into your ears, and crappy headphones cause these imperfections, however your brain automatically compensates for them. So the more your brain compensates, the less likely you are to listen overall, or to that band.

Re: Headphones
Close. You will listen regardless. It is just that listening to more "impure" sound makes the brain want to demand a workers union and go on strike.
