Dissidia on the other hand...
I still can't get the point of its gameplay even till today... Like, from the screen, how do I know that I'm hacking away at my opponent? IMO, all I see are some crazy numbers.

My problem with Dissidia is how everything is automated.

Press O to have Cloud do a 3 hit combo! Now press [] to have Cloud do some damage! Repeat this several times while blocking and dodging in the air until somebody dies!

Unless you meant Tales of Verus. Then just imagine it like a SSB ripoff

Here is the demo for a new doujin game freshly translated by Nyu Media.

For those who want to see it before they play it...

It is interesting and fun. It can be frustrating, if you let it be that. Frankly, I found myself laughing at how many times I died incredibly stupid deaths. I think that the deaths are too humorous/fatalistic to not laugh. In all honesty, who wants to eat melon that badly to have to go through all of those traps and fights? I would say, "Whatever," and go buy myself another melon.

Here are two new (or Nyu?) releases from Nyu Media. You might recognize them from Comiket a few conventions back. Trust me. These games are worth every penny. The good news is that each is only $7.99 via Steam!

Fairy Bloom Freesia

Ether Vapor Remaster

For indie and doujin game enthusiasts, I would keep an eye out for Nyu Media. Out of all of the current companies that are importing games, I see them as the most likely to import some of the larger titles from Japan. Maybe our delusional dreams of seeing an official Touhou port in English will not be a total pipe dream?
