How much do you seed per torrent on average?

I've been wondering, but how much do you seed on average? From what I've seen, some people don't seed at all and others seed quite a bit. I'm sort of curious to see the average.

The poll is by the upload/download ratio.

For me, it depends on the activity, but I try to do around 0.8+.

Usually about 0.8...

My clannad game download is going so slow T_T.....

I always seed until 2.5+ at least. It's not very difficult when your computer is on 24/7 and that uploads don't really affect downloads.

Haha... Lucky. My internet dies (thanks to my dad) at 10pm and upload slows my download speeds if I go over 150kb/s.

As soon as I posted that, the download sped up to 350 kb/s so it will be done in 6 minutes. :D

I only seed for up to a ratio of 2.5 for Boxtorrent torrents, though I sometimes do seed for almost dead torrents.

It'll be a cold day in hell before I start seeding for alive torrents.

I seed healthy and dead torrents; mostly because I'm in several private trackers that give bonuses for having good ratios and because I can save the good ratio for a "rainy day".

Ratios on torrents range from 0 (on public trackers XD) to 17.6 on my ROD OVA torrent for AHQ XD.

It really depends. It really tends to be "I seed them until I have to burn them to DVD" That is for ongoing series; once I have 5-6GB, my HDD space runs out, and I have to burn them to a temporary disk.

So they end up anywhere from .3 to 1.5, depending on how many things I download per week. Usually, they end up at about .6-.7

I usually try to seed to 1.0, though it's becoming increasingly difficult with my college blocking Bittorent - the only time I can do so is the 2 or so days when I get back from college, which really isn't much ^^;;

My service provider will go up in arms if my uploads get too high per month, so I don't seed on purpose. My torrents usually finish while I'm at school, so...
