The heart was put up on Valentine's Day, and there was a mention of

on the Myspace site they run. They even had Haruhi in a Santa suit back in late December.

As for the bunny thing, they may be over-doing it, but they had a fairly random poll up awhile back which asked who we'd like to see in a bunny suit, and Haruhi was ahead with Yuki and Mikuru tied at 2nd. I voted for Shamisen, who was beating Koizumi.

Still, the subtle hints to the series are cool - the distorted SOSDan logo, Tsuruya's speech, the corrupted images, Mikuru mentioning Kyon was "resting" around December 21st, and the source code is filled with Yuki and Kyon talking about what to do next with the site.
